Wow, wow, WOW! What a city this place is! From the moment we woke up and saw the city during daylight from our high hillside vantage place, our preconceived ideas of this city were instantly vanquished. A modern, prosperous city spread out beneath us, and we were looking forward to checking it out in more detail.
However, before we could do so, we were due at the KPMG offices for some media interviews. While the majority of our interviews are actually tomorrow, today we had a few select media outlets with very large followers. We also got the chance to meet a whole bunch of the KPMG staff, all who are extremely friendly, and we gave a few people some rides as well.
Unfortunately, the day finished just as it became dark and so there isn’t much more I can tell you about the city. What I can say is that we’re just about to go and explore the city by night, and so I shall report when I have more info! Buenas Noches!
Dear RGET ,
Absorb it all and celebrate !
Best regards from Ladysmith ( Kwazulu Natal )
in very dry corner of sunny South Africa ,
Charles and friends .
Dear RGET ,
as I have stated before , this EV Trip has afforded us an
irrevocable opportunity to learn about the different
countries and their respective cities through which you
have driven and our sentiments for what we have learned
so far about Colombia , particularly Cartagena , Medellin
and Bogota have surpassed any possible expectations we may
have had .
We unanimously agree that they are magnificent cities and
we identify with the modern thrust that Medellin and Bogota
have initiated , while speaking from our little corner it
has become obvious that this modern thrust has been implemented
with the establishment of many educational institutions with
the relevant supporting organs , whose outcome has become
very evident , a lesson which must be applied by the other
developing countries .
After having had a look at the curriculum that some of the
institutions were offering , it seems that the standard is
high which is really necessary so that both the future
non political ( science , technology , industry , medicine
et al ) and political leaders may direct their countries forward .
If I may , I would like to echo your Wow to WOWEEEE , Eish !
Best regards from Ladysmith ( Kwazulu Natal ) , in that little
dry corner of sunny South Africa , Charles and friends .
Hi… You went to the national university today, I study there, I couldn’t see you, but I met you when you’re leaving. It was so cool to see your car. It’s beautiful. As I told to the driver, sorry I don’t know your name, it’s super inspiring. I wish I could talk to you little bit more. I’m so glad you’re doing this. I wish the best for the rest of your trip, and keep on working, alternative energy sources are here!!!
